Our Partnerships teams works towards creating those engaging experiences that strengthen BBC Brand, and provide those compelling journeys into BBC ecosystem, that provides great ‘value for all’. Our department is based in Dock House at MediaCityUK in Salford, Greater Manchester. Our team is composed of Software Engineers, Testers, Product, UX and Delivery disciplines working in close collaboration.

Main responsibilities
As a Tester within the Partnerships teams, you will have a role in shaping, and executing testing within the team, for new features and projects, that span across various teams.
Depending on the team you are in, you will be appropriately engaged in all aspects of SDLC, including architecture, design, specs, tests, development, and delivery. As a Test discipline advocate, you will be reviewing new features that the team are working on, assess them, write test plans and work with software engineers to understand/refine/expand the test coverage to ensure testing is performed to the right level. You will also contribute to the test, writing and maintaining the automation test suites that supports this effort.
We would look for you to be an active participant in fostering a learning culture throughout the organisation through active sharing of knowledge, engaging in test community, finding opportunities to develop beyond the team.
You’re thorough in the way you test features and are committed to making the product you’re testing the best it can possibly be.
