Data Assistant - Fixed Term Contract up to end of March 2025

Woking with Hybrid working.

Nomad Foods is on a journey of ambitious growth and transformation, and we have an exciting 6-month fixed term contract opportunity to support our teams with the implementation of a Commercial Planning Process and Platform to create a one Nomad way for commercial decision making and forecasting across volume and value elements.

Joining us as the Data Assistant you’ll be responsible for supporting the project and market teams being able to engage and support the business in solving problems. There will be lots of excel work and large volumes of data to deal with where you’ll map / manipulate the data into a more standardised way for the teams and business. You’ll identify key insights for the team as well as any gaps, so attention to detail is a must!

• Data Input complex data provided by colleagues into system both through manual creation and systemized input
• Challenge data where it doesn’t look right, escalation to local teams as required
• Write, perform and record testing using Nomad systems
• Become a system expert to provide assurance on system quality and accuracy
• Reporting and taking ownership of the Excel reporting created by the project

About you…

We’re looking for someone who has a passion for data, comfortable in handling large volumes of it, working within excel and has an eye for the detail. You’re able to work in a collaborate way with everyone, naturally inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions or get stuck into the data -

• Previous experience in a similar data focused role and using SAP.
• Highly numerate + analytical, organised with strong prioritisation skills, able to deliver to tight timescales
• Self-motivated individual
• Most importantly, you’ve strong Excel Skills
