We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Santa Fe Springs, California. This role is within the industry of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and requires skills such as customer support, order entry, and familiarity with MRP systems. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with managing customer orders, maintaining customer records, and providing exceptional support.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer orders with precision, ensuring each order is entered into the system for timely delivery.
  • Maintain and update our customer order database, ensuring information is complete and accurate.
  • Collaborate with departments like production, shipping, and inventory management to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
  • Deliver outstanding customer support via various communication channels, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory levels and conduct regular checks to ensure stock availability.
  • Utilize QuickBooks software for tasks such as invoicing, billing, and maintaining financial records.
  • Assist in generating reports related to order status, inventory levels, and customer feedback.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products/services.
  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MRP - Material Requirements Planning.
  • Experience working with MRP ERP Systems.
  • Familiarity with MRP Inventory management.
  • Knowledge of MRP Systems.
  • Ability to handle Order Entry tasks efficiently.
  • Proven experience in Customer Support.
  • Prior experience in a Call Center environment.
