Job Description

Our client, a well-known footwear brand is seeking aMerchandising Data Entry Analyst to join their team!

In this role, you will be responsible for providing support for the Merchandising Team in daily, weekly and monthly projects. The ideal candidate will assist in analyzing data, generating reports, building templates, and managing data entry tasks.

What will you do

• Generate and organize weekly business reports from internal system
• Assist in interpreting business results to identify key learnings that assist immediate business actions weekly.
• Create and maintain seasonal Buy Sheets ensuring data is input accurately and style and quantity adjustments are updated in a timely fashion and communicated to cross-functional teams accordingly
• Assist in pulling seasonal data findings and insights in clear and concise formats (excel or powerpoint) to help determine future assortment strategies
• Analyze sales trends and product performance to support merchandising strategy development
• Perform accurate data entry for existing merchandising templates
• Support ad hoc reporting requests and data entry tasks as needed

Required Skills:

• BA or BS degree preferred
• Experience or internship in a retail or fashion related field
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
• MUST be Proficient in Microsoft excel (e.g lookups, pivot tables, charts) and comfortable with other data tools (Tableau)
• Ability to work with large data sets
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in both data analysis and data entry tasks
• Strong organizational skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to present data insights clearly
• Ability to work in fast paced, team oriented environment
• Familiarity with merchandising concepts and retail analytics
• Data entry with a high level of accuracy and thoughtful formatting

This role is temporary until mid-November approx.

Rate: up to $25 per hour DOE

Onsite in El Segundo - Monday - Friday
