Micropathology Ltd is a local scientific company looking for someone to join our team as a part time Data Entry Assistant.

The role is based at the University of Warwick Science Park in an open plan office.

Duties and responsibilities:

? Scanning of request forms and attaching to the Lims system. ?
 

• Manually transferring data from the original request forms on to the data base. ?
• Dealing with telephone calls and taking action as required.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest special requirements (training will be provided)
   

Skills, experience and education:

• basic computer skills are essential
• be methodical, diligent, with a good attention to detail
• be able to work on their own initiative but also as part of a team.
• be able to learn new skills quickly
• have a good telephone manner
• be able to demonstrate excellent keyboard skills
• have a friendly attitude and be able to liaise with senior members of staff
• GCSE or equivalent (required)
   

Hours of work:

The basic hours for this role will be 2/3 days per week, Monday - Friday, starting at 9.30am, and finishing between 2.15 - 4.30pm depending of volume of work for the day, average day is 5.5 hours. The successful candidate should also be able to cover shifts as required especially during busy periods and school holidays so flexibility is vital.

We are looking for candidates who are willing to stay with the company in a part time position for a long period of time. The role is therefore an ongoing position and only applicants who are willing to commit to the position long term (1 year+) should apply
