About the Management Accountant Insurance Jobs in Bournemouth 

Do you enjoy a varied finance role where you can develop your knowledge and skills? Then look no further, we are looking for an Management Accountant to join our forward-thinking finance team.

You will support our finance department with a variety of accounting duties, helping ensure the smooth operation of our company payroll and financial processes.

Management Accountant Main responsibilities of the role :

• Process weekly payroll and manage employee queries, ensuring that all payroll taxes are accurately calculated and paid to HMRC.
• Supervise the Purchase Ledger Clerk and drive process efficiencies.
• Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
• Oversee and cover tasks including bank reconciliations, input of invoices, posting of bank receipts and import of direct debit files.
• Run and review aged creditors reports and reconcile supplier statements.
• Prepare and post journals for credit card statements.
• Assist with audit and year end queries for all companies.

Key Skills & Experience required:

• AAT Level 3/4 qualified or QBE
• End to end payroll experience
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups etc)
• Experience of supervising staff
• Analytical skills

• Salary £32,000 - £35,000
