Job Description

The Role...

• Manage the School’s Music Library collection acquisitions (physical and digital) as well as selecting and managing music, scores, books, journals, recordings, microforms, manuscripts and other services.
• Undertake regular review, stock take and audit of the music library collections across all Campuses.
• Maintenance of the music library presence on the School Learning Management System, educational video library and other digital and online portals.
• Co-ordinate the music, instrument and resource asset management process and procedures.
• Co-ordinate the receipting of all music resources at the conclusion of activities and ensure all are in a clean and serviceable condition.
• General up-keep and maintenance of the music resourcing spaces.
• Assist with day-to-day operational requirements of the Co-curricular Music activities.
• Administer and assist with the logistical, communication and preparation aspects of significant Co-curricular events including, but not limited to: Co-curricular Music performances held on the School grounds and off-site, Celebration and Commemorative Events and Music Performance activities.
• Undertake administration requirements using a variety of different applications and platforms.

• Enthusiastic individuals with the ability to read music and an understanding of music theory and musical instruments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents and students.

Successful candidates will also have…

• Tertiary qualifications in subject matter (For example, Certificate IV Music or Arts Administration).
• A valid Working with Children number.
• COVID vaccination is essential.
