About the job

We are a diversified Main CIVIL CONTRACTOR hiring Sr. POST CONTRACT QS

Job Function:

• Prepares and Checks “Job Budget Sheet” and Revises the Budget in case of any new/revised drawings.
• Monitors the quantities and costs within the budget.
• Prepares ‘Budget Revision’ for quantity and rate in case the requirements exceed the budget.
• Checks and prepares cost implications for all variation orders and feeds it into the system.
• Maintains and updates all job files (MRF, Revised Budget, Drawings, Contracts, etc….)
• Maintains regular follow-up of the variation status and updates the system accordingly.
• Checks new sub-contract agreements cost and confirms that related variation orders are within job budget
• Controls all construction site stores.
• Maintains constant follow-up of the entries of all Delivery Notes and pass the same to accounts.
• Checks daily the job status and high-light the losses/big savings to management.
• Prepares regular reports to concerned departments.
• Checks and prepares Job Executed Actual Cost together with detailed report showing job status (profit/loss).
• Prepares Draft Contractual Letters as per projects requirements

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering Degree holder
• Expert in Candy and Plan Swift
• Minimum 10 years’ Experience – Contractor Side
• Excellent command in English (speaking and writing)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop relationships
• Numerical and data analysis skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Attention to details
• Available in UAE
