Job Summary

Ensures that the department handles the hotel communication system and guest communication politely and efficiently. Handles incoming/outgoing calls courteously and promptly and performs to the standards established by Shangri-La.

As a Telephone Operator, we rely on you to,
 

• Ensure all guests’ requests have proper records.
• Ensures that the staff have an in-depth knowledge of the telephone department and the equipment therein and know how to use them correctly.
• Maintains high standard among staff regarding courtesy, politeness, and efficiency.
• Maintains a high level of hotel product knowledge to all staff.
• Ensures the accuracy of the messages as well as into the system.
• Ensures that telephone charge slips are made out correctly and handed to the cashier for operator-assisted or collect calls etc.
• Ensures that all requests for wake-up calls are fulfilled at requested time.
   

What We Are Looking For
 

• At least 1 year working experience in hotel
• Ability to work long hours and shift
• Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the Arabic language)
• Computer Knowledge.
• This Position is for Saudi Nationals Only
