We are currently seeking an energetic, detailed, hardworking, self-starter to join our fast-paced Office Services team as a Receptionist. If you've been searching for "receptionist jobs near me," this opportunity could be the perfect fit. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and directing clients, as well as handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls. While you will receive some direction or guidance, most tasks and objectives are accomplished independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES of Toronto Receptionist

The incumbent’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Greet and direct clients to conference rooms
  • Coordinate scheduling of conference and meeting rooms
  • Keep a visitors log and/or issue visitor passes
  • Receive and relay incoming calls, taking messages where necessary
  • Place collect and overseas calls and arrange conference calls
  • Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS for Receptionist Jobs in Toronto

  • Post Secondary Diploma
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other Firm members, with the aptitude to take care of clients’ needs in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • Capacity to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and redefine priorities when necessary
  • Handle stress in a business-like manner
  • Prior reception experience in a corporate environment would be an asset
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft 365, Outlook, and knowledge of Rendezvous or similar boardroom booking systems would be an asset
