Senior Accountant - Long-term contract opportunity starting immediately in St. Catherines, Ontario!
Robert Half is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for an exciting new role in St. Catherines, Ontario. This is a 1-year contract opportunity working in St. Catherines, Ontario in the office 5 days per week. The ideal candidate for this role will have a solid background in Accounting along with Audit experience. If you are looking for an exciting new opportunity to showcase your Accounting & Audit skills, and report to the Director of Finance, this is the opportunity for you!
Major Responsibilities for Sr. Accountant Jobs
- Month-end close
- Journal Entries and Accruals
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist with Internal Audits, pull data for auditors, and follow up with any questions the auditors may have
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and projects as required
Requirements for sr. Accountant Jobs
- 3+ years of Accounting experience
- Prior experience with Audits required
- Previous experience working for an Accounting or Audit firm preferred
- Preference for those who are actively pursuing their CPA
- Experience with MS Dynamics 365, or similiar preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills
