As an Office Manager in our Mississauga office, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our workplace. This position involves a variety of tasks, from managing office logistics and maintaining a clean and organized environment, to supporting employee engagement activities and assisting with new employee onboarding.
Key Responsibilities for Officer Manager Mississauga Jobs
Office Maintenance: Proactively maintain the cleanliness and organization of common areas, including conference rooms, the kitchen, and open spaces. Regularly restock supplies such as snacks, coffee, and office essentials.
Event Planning: Coordinate logistics for in-office events, including business meetings, client visits, and employee lunches. Assist with social activities and training sessions as needed.
Administrative Support: Handle incoming phone calls, manage mail and package distribution, and provide general support to visitors. Update and maintain office policies and procedures, and assist in preparing reports or presentations.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with office vendors, oversee contracts, and research new suppliers. Handle budget responsibilities related to office supplies and services.
Employee Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including organizing new hire kits, desk allocations, and access badges.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT for equipment distribution and serve as a backup for other office managers as needed.
Qualifications for Office Manager Jobs in Mississauga
Proven experience in an administrative or office management role.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
High School degree required; additional administrative qualifications are a plus.
