Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative Urbansim + Planning Studio in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our visual identity and creating compelling designs across various platforms and mediums.

• Lead and execute design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet brand guidelines and client objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions for marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and print materials
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the design team
• Create and maintain brand identity systems, including logos, color palettes, and typography guidelines
• Design user interfaces (UI) for websites and mobile applications, focusing on user experience and visual appeal
• Develop engaging motion graphics and animations for digital platforms and presentations
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve design processes and outcomes
• Present design concepts and rationales to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively


 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• 8+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse design projects
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles
• Experience in brand identity development and implementation across various mediums
• Proficiency in both digital and print design, with knowledge of production processes
• Solid skills in UI design and creating user-centered visual experiences
• Ability to create engaging motion graphics and animations
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior designers
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Up-to-date knowledge of current design trends and best practices in the industry
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for tackling diverse design challenges
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
