About this role:

Our Dubai office is looking for a Graphic Designer who has environmental graphics experience with a portfolio of strong signage & wayfinding projects. You would find yourself in a multinational office environment full of passionate designers.

Job Summary:

Your role is to design and develop comprehensive signage, wayfinding and branding systems for our clients. You will manage and communicate effectively with external graphic design companies and collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to ensure that the signage solutions are not only functional but also enhance the visual appeal of the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Wayfinding Systems: Create intuitive, user-friendly wayfinding systems for diverse environments, ensuring accessibility and clarity of direction.

Signage Design: Develop clear, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing signage, including interior and exterior signs, digital displays, floor plans, and environmental graphics.

Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal design teams, clients and external graphic design companies to make sure that projects are delivered within timeline and budget.

Brand Integration: Ensure that signage designs are consistent with clients’ branding and visual identity while meeting functional requirements.

Create Prototypes & Mockups: Produce visual mockups, prototypes, and technical drawings for client presentations and approvals.

Documentation and Specifications: Prepare design documentation, technical drawings, and specifications for production and installation.

Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up with the latest trends in wayfinding design, materials, and technology.

Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in signage and wayfinding design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant design tools.
• Experience with 3D rendering software is a plus (e.g., Rhino, SketchUp, or similar).
• Excellent visual communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into simple, clear designs.
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes and materials for signage is a plus.
