About The Role
**The Agent, Procurement role is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone who has recently completed an internship in either Procurement or Finance and is passionate to kickstart their procurement career, and make that move into their first entry level position**
As an Agent, Procurement, you will be obtaining quotes from various suppliers based on specified requirements, selecting suppliers through comparative analysis of price, quality, and lead time, obtaining samples to ensure correct specifications, analyzing tender results for value engineering opportunities, processing purchase requisitions within 24 hours, dispatching approved purchase orders to suppliers, expediting delivery, ensuring supplier compliance with codes of conduct and standard procedures, and undertaking additional duties as assigned by management.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university, with preference given to those with prior experience in hospitality or foodservice. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint is required, along with previous experience in a procurement solution or ERP system. A minimum of one year in a similar role is expected, coupled with a strong business acumen, operational focus, and excellent financial modeling skills. The ability to work on projects with some supervision, adhere to deadlines, multitask effectively, and communicate clearly both orally and in writing are essential qualities for success in this role.
