About the job

The Opportunity

We are seeking a vibrant, dynamic and an out of the box performer to join our Rocktree team as an; Accountant to be based in Dubai, UAE.

Your contributions to our joint success

• Maintain complete and accurate financial records in compliance with relevant accounting standards for all assigned entities (e.g. IFRS).
• Prepare and file all required statutory financial reports, tax returns, and regulatory disclosures in a timely manner.
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation.
• Manage cash flow tracking, payment workflows and reporting.
• Support audit processes, including preparation of documentation, responding to inquiries and implementing recommended controls.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare month-end/year-end closing entries.
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting for management decision-making.

Skills which will aid your success

• 3-4 years of professional experience in accounting.
• A bachelor's degree (Accounting or equivalent).
• Meticulous and well organized.
• Team player and willing to adapt to changes for improvement of workflow.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to solve problems independently.
• Demonstrates high ethical standards and commitment to governance principles.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, along with ability to take initiative and prioritize competing deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with various accounting software applications.
• Experience with SAP financial modules is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present financial information clearly to different audiences.
• Develop and maintain financial records and schedules in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Implement and enforce established accounting policies across all financial activities.
• Execute accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Support budget planning, monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Perform additional financial tasks and special projects as requested by management.
