About the Role

This role is responsible for providing accounting support to the company's departments and ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will also work with the Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager to develop and implement financial reporting systems and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Reconcile and prepare schedules for each balance sheet account ensuring they are in line with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing activities for the entire Macro Group.
• Assist in the preparation or review of tax returns for the entire Macro Group including transaction analyses, gathering supporting documentation and coordinating with 3rd party tax consultants.
• Support the preparation of annual statutory financial accounts including Statement of Financial Position, Financial Performance and Cash Flows.
• Assist with yearly budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Manage working capital, including forecasting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Contribute to the continual improvement of finance processes and procedures.
• Undertake any other projects or duties deemed necessary by Senior Management that fit your current skill set.

Other General Responsibilities:

• Maintain a good working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Continue to be flexible and adaptable to the rapid expansion and changing needs of the business.

Please note that this is a contract position, 12-month FTC.

About You

ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CMA or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred (part qualified applicants may be considered dependent on experience).

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with specific reference to Microsoft Excel.

Highly numerate with good analytical skills and experienced in working with numerous data set.

Experience in preparation of full set of accounts and Consolidated Financial Statements is desirable.

Excellent interpersonal skills – proficient in both written & verbal communication, with demonstrated ability, to confidently interact with management, employees, subordinate staff and clients.

Experience in Sage Intacct is an advantage.
