Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Accountant to join our team. The candidate will be deployed with one of our clients on secondment basis and will be responsible for managing and analyzing cost data, ensuring accurate service costing, and providing cost related insights to support decision-making processes.

Job Type: Full-Time, Deployment at Client Location

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and manage cost data related to services provided by the organization.
• Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
• Prepare cost reports and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Review and analyze cost structures to ensure they are in line with the organization's financial goals and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with various departments to gather cost information and ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Monitor and report on key cost drivers and variances.
• Prepare and present cost analysis and reports to senior management.
• Assist in the development of cost control and reduction strategies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities with cost-related insights.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accounting
• Qualified Cost Accountant with CMA or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, with a focus on service costing for large organizations.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Prior experience in the Government Sector in the UAE is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
