Job Description
How does your working day look like …
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage the hotel's accounts payable and receivable functions.
Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and forecasts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Perform financial analysis and reporting on operational performance.
Coordinate with department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget adherence.
Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Assist in the preparation for external audits and liaise with external auditors.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the hotel's assets.
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Participate in strategic planning and provide financial input for business development initiatives.
Qualifications
Your personality counts more than your CV …
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
