Position: Specialist NICU - Abu Dhabi

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and compassionate specialist NICU to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As one of the leading healthcare facilities in the Middle East, we are dedicated to providing top-quality medical care to our patients, and we are looking for an individual who shares our passion for excellence.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a minimum of 5 years' experience. As a specialist in NICU, you will be responsible for the care of critically ill newborn babies and will play a crucial role in their recovery and development. You will work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise and knowledge to make a positive impact on the lives of our little patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Providing specialized medical care to critically ill newborn babies in the NICU.
• Monitoring and managing the ventilation of premature and sick infants.
• Administering medications and treatments according to protocols.
• Communicate with parents and keep them informed of their baby's progress.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
• Participating in the development and implementation of best practices for NICU care.
• Training and supervising junior medical staff and nursing team.
• Ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and patient documentation.
   

Qualifications And Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in NICU with extensive experience in ventilation.
• Advanced knowledge and skills in neonatal medicine and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Must be Western-trained.
