We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to assist with the financial operations and reporting for our organization. The Financial Controller will ensure the integrity of financial information, compliance with legal requirements, and efficient management of financial processes. This role is key to driving financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business decision-making. Virtual asset or strong financial services experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Accounting Oversight
Oversee the application and compliance of accounting policies, ensuring adherence to IFRS or other relevant accounting standards.
Provide guidance on complex technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition.
Financial Reporting
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Provide detailed variance analysis and financial performance reports to senior management.
Budgeting And Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Develop and maintain financial forecasts and models to support strategic decision-making.
Compliance And Audit
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
Financial Management
Oversee cash flow planning and management, ensuring the organization’s liquidity.
Manage and optimize financial systems, processes, and controls.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics,
Professional certification is a requirement (e.g., CPA, CMA, or CFA).
Proven experience within investment banking, crypto or fintech
Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and accounting principles.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in reporting.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
