About The Role

In this role, you will engage in various accounting activities and provide professional consultative and advisory accounting services to the organization. You will ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards, manage the organization's financial resources, and adhere to all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.

What You Will Do
 

• Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.
• Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information to prepare financial reports and accounting statements.
• Process vendor invoices, bank payments, and travel reports.
• Issue intercompany invoices to relevant parties.
• Ensure timely and accurate responses to external and internal auditors.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GBS quality standards, Essity policies and guidelines (such as MICR), and legal and statutory regulations.
• Maintain the interface with the Business Unit Controlling network and business contacts.
• Act as an advisory partner for accounting services, providing technical accounting advice to functional or operational managers and colleagues in the finance area.
• Resolve escalated issues and escalate potential challenges or questions to the next level regarding necessary changes, inefficiencies, or other possible issues.
• Contribute to finding and implementing effective solutions within a matrix organization.
   

Who You Are

• Must have a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• Must have a minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in accountancy in international company.
• Must have excellent analytical and problem solving.
• Must be proficiency in accounting software such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP B1 and QuickBooks.
• Must have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Must have good command of both written and spoken English, Arabic is a plus.
• Must have the ability to meet strict deadlines and attention to detail.
