Role Overview:

The Designer & Pattern Maker will combine creative design skills with technical pattern-making expertise to craft elegant, high-end garments. Working closely with our design and production teams, you will ensure that our collections meet the highest standards of fit, precision, and luxury craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative concepts and bring them to life through sketches, mood boards, and fabric selections.
• Develop accurate manual patterns for garments, ensuring functionality, luxury standards, and a perfect fit.
• Assist in grading patterns across standard sizes while maintaining consistency and precision.
• Execute fabric cutting with attention to detail, ensuring minimal wastage, particularly for bespoke and luxury orders.
• Oversee the development of prototypes and samples to align with design concepts and maintain quality standards.
• Participate in fittings, refining both design and patterns to achieve flawless silhouettes and superior craftsmanship.
• Utilize draping techniques on mannequins to create unique, custom-tailored designs.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, techniques, and innovations in fashion design and garment construction.
• Maintain organized documentation for all designs, patterns, and samples.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a fashion designer with strong technical skills in pattern-making.
• Expertise in manual pattern-making and grading, with a deep understanding of proportions and luxury garment construction.
• Proficiency in draping techniques and working directly with mannequins.
• Advanced knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and high-end garment construction.
• Creativity and design vision with a focus on sophisticated, modern elegance.
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship, ensuring impeccable quality.
• Problem-solving skills to address fit and construction challenges efficiently.
