We are seeking a Finance Officer/Accountant with 3 to 8 years of experience in the supermarket or hypermarket industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions, reconciling POS data, and supporting overall financial operations. Immediate availability is a must for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily financial transactions, including posting and recording of expenses, revenues, and inventory management.
Reconcile daily sales data from the POS system with cash, credit card, and other payments, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Monitor cash flow and oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring proper reconciliation at the end of each day.
Assist in preparing financial reports, including sales performance and monthly financial statements.
Support month-end closing activities, ensuring all POS data is accurately captured in financial systems.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely payments and proper recording of financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and standards.
Assist in payroll management and ensure timely salary disbursement.
Requirements:
2 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role within a supermarket or hypermarket in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of financial reconciliation and handling data from POS systems.
Experience in managing day-to-day transactions, cash flow, and financial reporting.
Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
Immediate availability is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
