As a Virtual Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operations of this dynamic psychology clinic. This position offers a unique blend of healthcare administration and virtual work, allowing you to grow your skills in a flexible, remote environment. You’ll be supporting healthcare professionals and contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinic, ultimately helping to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Job Highlights
Hourly Rate: USD 8.34, the equivalent in your local currency
Work Hours per Week: 40
Schedule: Mon to Fri 9 AM - 6 PM Quebec CAD Time
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will also be accountable for handling their taxes and benefits independently. The professional fees are calculated on an hourly basis.
Responsibilities
Manage and respond to clinic emails with professionalism and efficiency
Process invoices and handle payment acceptance, ensuring accurate financial records
Maintain organized digital filing systems for clinic documents and patient records
Assist with calendar management and scheduling as needed
Support clinic staff with various administrative tasks to optimize daily operations
Collaborate with the virtual receptionist team to ensure seamless patient service
Requirements
Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare setting
Fluent in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skill
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with email management systems
Familiarity with invoice processing and basic bookkeeping principles
Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
